  12. I've got an A2000 with 2.0 ROM, 2.1 WB.  I am trying to format a HD disk
  13. in a Dell HD drive. I had it working just fine but that was before I
  14. accidently formatted dh0:  Go ahead, call me a dumbass................ 
  15. I've got the crossdos file "pc1" renamed as "df2" in the dosdrivers drawer
  16. as unit 2.(df2:) The drive seems to format the disk just fine. When
  17. initializing the disk I get the dos message "Format Failure: Error 254"
  18. When I used the dostype originally in the "pc1" file, (0x4F534400) it
  19. would not even format the disk. I changed the last numeral to a 1
  20. (0x4F534401) and it seems to format fine. That's when I get the message. 
  21. I've also tried changing the dostype to 0X444f5300,......same response. 
  22. Now, since you've read this much, you might as well start punching those
  23. keys and help me out!    Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
